Sheffield United ended their long wait for a home league win with a battling victory over Watford at Bramall Lane this afternoon. The Blades had not won here in league action since they beat Brentford back in December but took the points thanks to Callum O’Hare’s second-minute winner.
It could have been more comfortable for the Blades as Kieffer Moore missed a penalty soon after after Oliver Arblaster was fouled in the box, while away goalkeeper Daniel Bachmann was by far the most troubled of the two on the field. It was at times a fiery clash that fittingly ended with a post-match melee that saw players from both sides pulled apart.
Here’s how we rated United’s players as they signed off for the international break in style...

5. Harrison Burrows 6.5
Impressed at both ends of the pitch early on with a delicious cross that was begging to be converted as it flashed across goal, and then good defending to flick a header clear as a deep cross looked to cause United trouble. He then underhit a corner and then overhit a cross within the space of a few seconds, which was disappointing for a man of his quality on that left foot, Looked a threat linking up well with Hamer on the one-two | Sportimage

6. Vini Souza 8
Earned a similar ovation to Ahmedhodzic's earlier on when he showed similar commitment to chase down Chakvetadze as he looked to race away and snuff out the danger. Went down with cramp in the second half and it's no real surprise after his energetic display, showing again how useful he will be in the Championship. To be fair to him, he's really got the punters back on side after a difficult season last time out Photo: Ian Hodgson

7. Oliver Arblaster 6.5
Captained the side again with Robinson absent and won the early United penalty after getting to the ball ahead of former teammate Larouci. Not his best performance with the ball but he still showed his importance to the United cause once again Photo: Andrew Yates

8. Jesurun Rak-Sakyi 6.5
Made his full league debut with Andre Brooks out of the side and looked dangerous early on as he toyed with Larouci and had a hand in O'Hare's opener. Had a couple of bright moments when he picked up the ball and Watford's defenders visibly retreated in panic, and he could have given United a dream start to the second half before his effort was deflected over.
