After a grim season where the Blades have struggled to score goals - an issue which has ultimately seen them relegated - a striker looks likely to be on their shopping list this summer, and Peterborough United sensation Jonson Clarke-Harris has been heavily linked with a switch to Bramall Lane in recent weeks.

According to reports from Football Insider, West Bromwich Albion are the latest side to take an interest in the League One sensation, and sent scouts to see him in action against Lincoln City last weekend - a game in which he scored twice to inspire his side's comeback from three goals down to draw 3-3 and secure promotion.

Racking up 31 league goals this season has seen the 26-year-old become one of the most admired talents in the EFL, and the likes of Swansea City, Cardiff and Rangers could also make a move for the in-form striker.

Clarke-Harris has performed beyond expectations since joining the Posh from Bristol Rovers last summer, and has filled the void left by Ivan Toney who made the step up to join Brentford in the Championship.

Meanwhile, United's Premier League rivals Burnley have been linked with a move for Blades goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale, who could be targeted if the Clarets lose England international stopper Nick Pope this summer.
