Whether or not Sheffield United can pull off a minor miracle and survive in the Premier League in the final 10 matches of their campaign, a big summer looms at Bramall Lane as Chris Wilder looks to mastermind the second big Blades revolution of his managerial career. As many as 19 players could walk away at the end of the season while a big sale will also be necessary to plug the financial deficit if United are relegated.
But a number of young starlets are signed to long-term deals ensuring at least a bit of security for the Blades in that department. With that in mind we looked at 17 players who could leave or stay at Bramall Lane next season - who would you like to keep?

The skipper has had an underwhelming season in the Premier League, based on how many – including me – thought he would perform and it’s unlikely that he’ll be too keen on another season in the Championship if United do drop back down. He’s also one of the saleable assets that could help plug the financial gap and if United are in the second tier next season I can’t see the defender joining them
6. John Egan
One of the many conundrums United have regarding contracts. Egan is a free agent this summer but has also spent most of the season sidelined with injury. United will understandably want to see how he recovers before committing to anything while other clubs may be similarly wary. Could a compromise be reached to see him remain at the Lane? 7. Gus Hamer
Another of United’s big-money signings that ordinarily United might look to cash in on, but the question is whether the former Coventry man has done enough to convince any potential suitors that he belongs at Premier League level? Leeds have previously been linked and may take a punt if they go up but the signs currently point to Hamer remaining at the Lane
8. Ollie Arblaster
It’s imperative that United keep hold of their brightest young talent and have made great strides in that area of late by tying down the likes of Arblaster and Andre Brooks to new long-term deals. If they are to be prised away it has to be for silly money, otherwise they will stay and form the backbone of the Blades rebuild
