Sheffield United punctured Watford’s superb home form this season with a very impressive victory at Watford this afternoon. Goals from Gus Hamer and Andre Brooks sealed victory for United either way of Jeremy Ngakia’s equaliser for the hosts.
Here’s how we rated the Blades’ players on another afternoon to remember this season...

5. Harrison Burrows 5
Back in the side as one of three changes after starting at Sunderland on the bench and was lively down the left even if his delivery was uncharacteristically insistent as he ballooned one cross behind the goal. He was shaky too defensively, robbed of the ball on one occasion and bailed out by Cooper with Baah giving him a difficult time down the Watford right. A tad lucky perhaps to get away with a late penalty shout as the ball bounced off his arm but the appeals were waved away Photo: Cameron Smith

6. Sydie Peck 8
A really mature display in the middle of the park from the young man who doesn't play like a 20-year-old still making his way in the game. A superbly-timed tackle later on prevented Cooper having to make a save and he came into his own in the dying minutes with a number of brilliant challenges to keep Watford at bay Photo: Andrew Yates

7. Tom Davies 8
Made his third start in a row as the Blades' injury situation forced them to risk the former Everton man once more. Showed more signs of his undoubted class and also some rare ones of aggression as he was booked for a first-half coming together with Sierralta. Quick-thinking got United going in the build-up to Brooks' goal and another 90 minutes which is a brilliant physical effort once again Photo: Andrew Yates

8. Andre Brooks 8
Started at Vicarage Road after being named on the bench at the Stadium of Light and fully justified that call. Could have had an assist in the first 30 seconds, was denied well by Bachmann in the first half but then found a way past him in the second half with a wonderful curling effort which was only matched by the acrobatic celebration. Star man. | Sportimage
