Sheffield United bounced back from their disappointing defeat at Blackburn Rovers last time out with a 0-0 draw with Coventry City at Bramall Lane this afternoon.

United boss Slavisa Jokanovic had called on his players to start showing a nasty streak that has been missing from their game – particularly at home – before the game.

Blades v Coventry LIVE

from Foderingham as he gets down to his left to deny Sheaf’s shot from long range, he had all the time in the world to pick his spot but Foderingham was equal to it

from Sharp’s driven cross after Gibbs-White sent him in behind - earlier Hourihane did well to get across and tackle Dabo after he got past Bogle too easily

Decent opening again

down the right for the Blades, but Bogle overhits the cross and Coventry head clear

as he puts the ball through his opponent’s legs and tries to curl past Moore, but he sends it the wrong side of the post ... ‘City reject’ sing the fans behind that goal at the former Coventry man

Good opening for Bogle

on the right after Fleck did well to recycle the ball and play in Gibbs-White, he went wide to Bogle whose cross was blocked - United have dominated the ball so far without too many clear openings

Nice applause for Simon Moore

on his return to Bramall Lane, a great man and goalkeeper too who’s excelled at Coventry this season. Great to see - although he hopefully concedes a few this evening

Here come the teams

with United in red and white of course and Coventry in their Sky Blue home kit

Bramall Lane filling up nicely

with less than 10 minutes until kick off against Coventry, a good following from the away side as well - understandably, considering they’re flying. Good to be back at the Lane after the international break but we need to see a reaction from what happened at Blackburn last time out, fingers crossed

A good move, do you think?
