Here’s how the game unfolded, with reaction from Paul Heckingbottom on an afternoon to forget for the Blades.

Coventry v Blades LIVE

Hourihane sees a shot

saved by Moore after it landed on his left peg

and such a simple goal sees City probably put it to bed - a ball cuts out the defence and O’Hara slips it into the far corner.

and it’s 2-1 as City somehow scramble the ball over the line - Foderingham saved the initial shot, it bounced back off the post and the goal was given after an almighty goalmouth scramble - no idea who scored or if it’ll go down as an own-goal after bouncing off Gordon but o’Hara was certainly involved and the home side lead

O’Hare goes close

with a driven shot after being sent clear, it hits the stanchion behind the goal and United have another let-off

from a well-struck Berge effort that was travelling towards his bottom corner

and it’s all square at the break, the Blades being pegged back after Berge’s opener and then being perhaps a tad fortunate not to fall behind in the second half as Foderingham made a couple of big saves and a good effort late in the half went just over his bar - City were very much on top as the first half drew to a close and the Blades need to regain a bit of control in the second if they’re to get a positive result from here, you feel.
