"I'll be consistent from hereon in - I don't need to do anyone else any favours.

"I understand the question and why everyone connected with our football club will want to know.

"There'll be some touch and go ones but whatever happens with those, it's a fixture we can look forward to."

Wilder did reveal that Ben Osborn will be available to return after his calf injury, while Enda Stevens could also boost United's defensive options if he is declared fit after his own recent absence.

"Ben has returned to full training so he'll be available and hopefully Enda will be involved as well," Wilder added.

"There are a couple of little issues but nothing major, and hopefully with Ben coming in we won't lose any more players from midweek."

United and their Premier League rivals will also be able to use concussion substitutes from this weekend.

"It's a contact sport," Wilder said.

"The players are committed and brave and so head injuries do occur, and it's vital we protect those players. So I'm in favour of what's going off and what will be introduced."
