Sheffield United could not bounce back from their midweek hammering at West Bromwich Albion when they lost 2-1 to Huddersfield Town at Bramall Lane this afternoon.

United thought they had sealed a point when Billy Sharp equalised in injury time, before Levi Colwill tapped home from close range shortly after to continue Slavisa Jokanovic’s wait for a league win as Blades boss.

Sheffield United v Huddersfield LIVE

after ghosting past his marker on the edge of the box, he looks to have been fouled but nothing is doing from the referee and then we have the customary two-minute wait before the game restarts

as McBurnie wins the ball back high up and drives at the defence, he’s bundled over and United have a free-kick in a decent position just outside the box - Norwood curls it but it’s at the ‘keeper’s side and he catches it comfortably

Brewster smashes a cross/shot

across the face of goal, McBurnie is lurking in case of any rebounds but Nicholls holds onto it comfortably enough

Foderingham comes to claim

a deep free-kick, he gets something on it - just about enough - and it’s scrambled clear, and Sarr is down in the Blades box after taking a whack - he’s back on his feet now

on his left foot after United work the ball into a good position and it comes across for him, it was worth a go after opening up a little but he gets too much on it and it sails over the Town crossbar

for a vital block on O’Brien’s cross, with Ward streaming through the middle and looking for a tap in - it didn’t get that far and Huddersfield again have a corner, which is flicked all the way across goal and goes out of play for a Blades throw-in on the left

Berge almost sneaks a pass

through to Baldock after spotting the run, it’s eye of a needle stuff and he almost threads it but Hogg got in the way to intercept and snuff out the danger

McBurnie heads Basham’s cross

and he doesn’t get enough contact on it to trouble Nicholls, but it nearly falls for Brewster - who can’t get to it before it goes out of play

Berge crosses from the right

after Baldock moved inside and then played it back wide, it’s a perfect cross for a near post run - but no one made it and Nicholls collects, colliding with a defender in the process and now he needs a bit of treatment

Davies wins the free-kick

after being challenged by Koroma, he’s looked solid so far with the little he’s had to do as United started on the front foot
