Sheffield United faced another stiff test of their promotion credentials this evening when they face Nottingham Forest at Bramall Lane – and came away disappointed after an injury-time equaliser for Forest.

The game pitted seventh against ninth in the table, with Forest looking to continue their excellent away form against one of their Championship rivals, and ended level after Ryan Yates’ header cancelled out Billy Sharp’s opener.

Blades v Forest LIVE

Good block Robinson

to keep out Zinckernagel’s shot - then he does brilliantly to prevent the cross coming in from Johnson

and Spence wins it after being fouled by Norrington-Davies - Johnson to take it in front of the Kop ... and FODERINGHAM SAVES!! What a terrible penalty it was and Foderingham gathers it at the second attempt!! What a let off for the Blades

after finding a bit of space, Seriki puts him under pressure and he slips a little as he gets his volley away and it goes wide of Foderingham’s goal - moments earlier United broke and Berge’s good pass found RND, who looked to be fouled, but nothing was given and the Blades fans aren’t happy

as Egan gives the ball away again and Zinckernagel is played through, he looks to toe-poke it home but Foderingham stands up tall and makes the block

as Seriki’s cross is deflected behind - Fleck trots over to take it on the Blades right, it’s played short and when Robinson’s cross eventually comes in, it’s far too high for anyone in the middle and bounces out for a throw on the other side

Chance for the Blades

as MGW and Fleck exchange passes and the former breaks free, he gets his head up and finds the run of Berge but his shot is well saved by Horvath, Seriki’s follow-up cross flashes across the face of goal

Sloppy backpass from Egan

concedes a corner, he was in control after a long ball over the top but his pass couldn’t find Foderingham and Forest have a cheap corner ... it’s blocked away for another corner, and Norwood eventually heads away

from Norwood is floated in dangerously after Sharp was fouled, Horvath in the Forest goal punches it clear and Davies is flagged offside when the pass is recycled

from Foderingham to deny Johnson’s well-struck shot, a poor pass from Egan surrendered possession in a poor area and Forest looked to take advantage, with Foderingham preventing them taking an early lead
