The game pitted seventh against ninth in the table, with Forest looking to continue their excellent away form against one of their Championship rivals, and ended level after Ryan Yates’ header cancelled out Billy Sharp’s opener.

Blades v Forest LIVE

as Gibbs-White sees his shot blocked behind - Horvath makes two good saves to deny Sharp and then Davies, I think it was

AND IT’S THAT MAN BILLY SHARP who gets it, nodding home Gibbs-White’s superb deep cross to send Bramall Lane wild

sees Osborn replace Seriki and Jebbison come on for Norwood

as Berge slides in Gibbs-White down the left, he looks to square for the unmarked Sharp but the defender, possibly Cook, does well to get across and block it

Forest hits the bar

as Cook rises highest and connects, it rebounds off the bar and the Blades break but Fleck can’t get his pass off in time and the chance goes begging

as Davies blocks Davis’ cross after the big man makes a nuisance of himself again ... it’s taken but Foderingham claims easily

after challenging Davis down the wing, they both have a hold of each other but the ref gives it Forest’s way and shows the yellow for good measure

and a big 15 minutes for Hecky and his staff, you’d think, after a below-par half from his players - I’d be amazed if there wasn’t a change at the break and there are a number of candidates to be hooked, too. The Blades have their goalkeeper to thank for not going in behind, and they simply haven’t got going

Here’s the penalty and the save

Great defending from Davies

after Fleck’s back header went wrong and sent Davis clear, he looked to go on the outside but Davies stuck with him and made the block as he looked to shoot
