A £15 entry package could put you in the running to own a furnished Edwardian home in north-west London, complete with a tropical garden, garage and striking loft suite.

Fifteen pounds doesn't usually get you very far in London. It might cover a couple of coffees, a quick lunch or approximately four minutes in the back of a black cab.

But it could now put you in the running to own an extraordinary £2.3 million dream house in the capital.

The latest Raffle House competition offers entrants the chance to win a beautifully restored Edwardian home in north-west London, complete with its furniture and no Stamp Duty or legal fees to pay.

Entry packages start at £15, which currently buys 20 entries into the draw.

The house can be found on Wrottesley Road in the Kensal Rise and Kensal Green area of NW10, placing it within easy reach of Willesden Junction, the Bakerloo line and London Overground services.

It covers approximately 2,345 sq ft across three floors and combines its original period character with some seriously dramatic modern additions.

The main event is the 19ft by 18ft kitchen and dining room at the rear. It has bespoke dark-green cabinetry, marble-effect quartz worktops, an island with an induction hob and walls of exposed brick.

Huge Crittall-style windows look out across the garden, while the extension is topped with a living sedum roof.

Alongside the kitchen is a separate family room overlooking the greenery. There is also a formal front reception room with high ceilings, decorative plasterwork, wall panelling, a ceiling rose and an open fireplace.

The original tiled entrance hall and stained-glass windows have survived the renovation, while herringbone oak flooring brings the ground-floor rooms together.

Upstairs are four first-floor bedrooms, several of which retain their original fireplaces and wooden floorboards. A freestanding roll-top bath, dark panelling and patterned tiles give the family bathroom plenty of character.

The loft has then been transformed into a principal suite with fitted wardrobes, roof lights and its own hotel-style bathroom. Its most unusual feature is another freestanding bath, positioned in the bedroom against an exposed brick wall and beside a large window overlooking the garden.

This means the floorplan effectively shows five sleeping rooms, despite the property originally being marketed by estate agents as a four-bedroom house.

The approximately 50ft south-westerly garden might be the most impressive part of the property. It is packed with palms, ferns, olive trees and tropical planting, with a professional lighting system designed to bring it to life after dark.

There is even a covered brick pergola at the bottom, creating a sheltered outdoor room for dining and entertaining throughout the year.

Parking is often hard to come by in this part of London, but the house has off-street parking and its own garage. It also has three bathrooms, a utility and boot room and a downstairs WC.

Raffle House says the winner can choose a cash alternative instead. Renting the property could be another option: based on comparable large family homes nearby, it might potentially command somewhere around £6,000 to £7,000 per month.

The London Dream Home competition is scheduled to close on October 31. Anyone who enters before September 20 will also receive entries into the associated £10,000 cash and £60,000 Porsche draws.

Other entry bundles and monthly subscriptions are available, while a free postal-entry route is provided for people who don't want to purchase tickets online.
