These are the most popular kids' advent calendars for Christmas 2026.
September might seem ridiculously early to be thinking about advent calendars, but 2026’s launches are already underway. From LEGO builds and collectible figures to the hugely popular Squishy. There are plenty of alternatives to chocolate but these popular calendars usually sell out way before Halloween. Here are the kids’ advent calendars I’ve spotted that are worth putting on your radar.
LEGO
For kids who would rather build something than eat chocolate every morning, LEGO has some of the strongest options around this year.The 2026 LEGO Marvel Advent Calendar £29.97 features 24 days of little LEGO surprises, while the Star Wars version gives fans another way to count down to Christmas with a galaxy-themed collection.
Both are part of LEGO's 2026 Advent calendar line-up, alongside Disney, City and Friends versions. The Marvel and The Star Wars Advent Calendars £24.55 are great for older kids and adults too. The little builds and characters can be played with afterwards too.

This is the sort of calendar I'd look at if your child is more interested in collecting characters than traditional toys. Instead of chocolate, they get a Pokémon-themed surprise behind each door, making the countdown feel like part of a collection.
Squishy
The most popular trending toy right now is the Squishy. These toys are all over TikTok so If your child is obsessed, this Amazon Christmas Squishy Advent Calendar 2026 £14.99 will make them very happy It's a much more novelty-led option than a chocolate calendar, with a different squishy surprise to discover throughout the countdown. Squishy’s have become a popular type of collectible toy, so I can see this being particularly appealing to children who like sensory toys and collecting little characters.
