Well-known former Doncaster school teacher dies
A well-known former Doncaster school teacher has died at the age of 66.
Alan Swindell, who taught at Balby Carr School, died suddenly on March 13.
Retired Mr Swindell, of Loversall, was the husband of Moya and dad to Claire.
An obituary read: "He was also the much loved brother of Ian, also a brother in law, uncle and friend to many, a real gentleman."
His funeral will take place on April 6 at Kings Cross Methodist Church at 1pm followed by cremation at Rose Hill at 2.20pm.
