WATCH: Sneak preview of new '˜rain art' in Sheffield city centre
The nights are drawing in and the weather's getting wetter - but Sheffield's creativity is making rainy days a bit more bearable.
The first instalments of Off the Shelf and the Year of Making’s exciting outdoor exhibition of rain art have been unveiled.
From Pulp lyrics to Shakespeare quotes and Alan Bennett lines to Sheffield sayings, It’s Raining Words is a collection of 36 artworks on the city centre’s streets that only reveal themselves in wet weather.
The Star's sneak preview shows what to look out for on rainy days out shopping- with a trail map set to be released once the artworks are all finished.

Sheffield’s Off the Shelf literature festival is celebrating its 25th anniversary by bringing a UK first to the city as well as great words - hoping to literally stop people in their tracks.
The rain art will last for around four months.
