Sheffield road near Meadowhall closed due to road traffic crash

Police closed Meadowhall road, near to the Meadowhall Intercharge earlier this evening after a crash between vehicles.

Drivers have been urged to avoid the area as officers and emergency workers remain on the scene.

South Yorkshire Police said: “Meadowhall Road next to Meadowhall Interchange in Sheffield is closed in both directions following an RTC.

"Members of the public are advised to find alternative routes.”
