Sheffield Council’s contractor Amey will restart its programme from Monday, June 15, beginning on Broad Street in the city centre, where work is planned over five nights.

Since the lockdown began in March, only ‘safety critical’ work had taken place in the city but the council said adjustments had been made to ensure the safety of staff and members so planned works could resume.

The council says residents and businesses affected by the work will be notified via letter.
