Attercliffe Road and surrounding streets are gridlocked, with bus companies reporting delays to services.
Travel South Yorkshire, which coordinates public transport, said there are delays of up to 20 mins in the Attercliffe area ‘due to some temporary traffic lights stuck on red’.
The organisation said: “Please allow extra time for your journeys.”
Stagecoach said there are also roadworks on Attercliffe Road.
