Update on London Road closure following building collapse on busy commuter route in Sheffield
The area was closed for hours on Sunday
Traffic is slow on a busy Sheffield commuter route this morning (April 27) following a building collapse on Sunday.

Two flats above a row of shops on London Road partially collapsed over the weekend, with masonry crashing onto the pavement and street below, near the junction with Wolseley Road.
Structural engineers and emergency services were on the street much of Sunday after bricks and timber fell into the road.
Miraculously, it is understood that nobody was injured in the incident.
As of 8.15am on Monday (April 27), London Road is open, however the lane closest to the building remains closed.
As a result, traffic is struggling along the northbound route towards the city.
London Road is one of the busiest routes in Sheffield.
It is understood police have left the scene.
