Rail services between Sheffield and Doncaster resume after casualty airlfted to hospital

Rail services are beginning to return to normal after a casualty was airlifted to hospital following an incident at Doncaster railway station.

British Transport Police said emergency services were called to the scene at around 4.20pm.

Services between Sheffield and Doncaster were either cancelled or delayed but are beginning to run to their usual timetable.

Passengers have been advised to check before they travel.
