A boy, aged 17, is being quizzed today over a stabbing in Sheffield.

The teenager was arrested over an attack in Plowright Way, Gleadless Valley, in which a man was stabbed in his leg last night.

A police spokeswoman said: "At around 8.30pm yesterday evening, officers responded to reports a man had been assaulted in Plowright Way, Sheffield.

"A 21-year-old man sustained a non-life threatening stab wound to his leg in the incident.

"Officer arrested a 17-year-old boy on suspicion of attempted murder in connection with the incident. He currently remains in police custody."
