A firearm, knives, drugs and cash have been seized after a police raid in Rotherham.

Officers raided a property in the town yesterday and found the cache of weapons, drugs and notes.

A force spokesman said: "A Misuse of Drugs Act warrant was executed at a Rotherham address.

"Drugs, a firearm, weapons and cash were seized and are now off our streets.

"A male was detained and is facing a possible prison sentence."
