Another big crowd is expected at the John Smiths Stadium for Wednesday’s Yorkshire derby with Huddersfield and the club are building a reputation this season for having one of the biggest and noisiest away followings in the Championship.

So much so, that Hunt admits no matter where he and his team mates play, it feels like Hillsborough and that their support will be key between now and the end of the season, with the finishing line approaching.

“It really feels like you are playing at home every week because there is so many travelling,” said Hunt, who began his career at Huddersfield Town.

“You can hear them from start to finish and they get us through games at times so it’s brilliant to have so many travelling and hopefully that continues.

“I can’t remember how many were at Nottingham (for the 3-0 win last month) but that was a brilliant support and I’m sure there’ll be thousands there (at Huddersfield) too.

“I’m sure the tickets will be sold out and hopefully we can get a result for them.”

Wednesday are currently sixth in the Championship, three points ahead of nearest rivals Cardiff, who play fifth-placed Derby County today,
