Jack Hunt has praised experienced members of the Sheffield Wednesday squad for their guidance as the Owls enter the final stages of the Championship campaign.
In sixth position and with their destiny in their own hands in the bid for a play-off spot, players like Glenn Loovens, a Uefa Cup winner with Feyenoord and a Scottish League title winner at Celtic and Ross Wallace, who won promotion from the Championship with both Sunderland and Burnley, have been vital in the dressing room.
“Glenn is a brilliant captain, he speaks to everyone about everything and obvously Ross has been there and done it too,” says Hunt.
“It can help everyone, especially the younger lads who have maybe not seen how far we’ve come over a short space of time and that will help us and hopefully we can use that experience and kick on.”
Ahead of today’s match at Huddersfield, Hunt added: “The manager’s also drilled it into us from day one, just concentrate on the next game that’s all that matters.”
