She added: "What makes today particularly special is that these achievements have been secured by a group of students who have given so much to our school community. They are thoughtful, caring and ambitious young people, and they deserve to celebrate everything they have achieved.

"I would also like to thank our staff and families. These results are a testament to a community working together to help every young person succeed."

Tom Highnett, Director of Key Stage 4, added: "We are so proud to celebrate the achievements of this lovely, kind, hardworking and talented year group.
