Professor's top award nomination

Professor John Snowden, consultant haematologist at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, has been nominated for the Clinical Supporter of the Year Award at the annual ceremony, which is in its fourth year and aims to celebrate, recognise and thank the outstanding supporters who keep the pioneering blood cancer charity moving forward.

Henny Braund, chief executive at Anthony Nolan, said: ‘Professor Snowden has been an incredible supporter of the charity for many years and we’re delighted that he has been shortlisted for this award. This year’s awards will be a fitting occasion to bring our supporters together and thank them for helping us to save more lives every day.”

The awards ceremony will be held in the House of Commons on November 22.
