Watch the first of our monthly Q&A sessions with South Yorkshire Mayor Oliver Coppard
The mayor spent half an hour answering the public’s questions
The mayor of South Yorkshire took time to answer some of the public’s burning questions in his first Q&A with The Star.
Mayor Oliver Coppard spent almost half an hour tackling topics ranging from the greenbelt, to bus gates and even James Bond.
It is set to be the first of a monthly feature with the mayor, with residents across Sheffield and South Yorkshire urged to submit their questions.
This will be an opportunity for people to have a direct contact with the region’s mayor, who is currently working on projects like Doncaster Sheffield Airport and a complete reworking of the region’s public transport network.
