Planning permission for the Cotton Mill Row development, which includes 90 apartments in a four storey building, was given by Sheffield Council and work is now well underway on clearing the area.

“Cotton Mill Row follows on from our highly successful and recently completed 49 apartment Kelham Gate project,” said Raad Sabkha, director of R S Sabkha Construction and Developments.

“Aimed primarily at the young professional market, they are the sort of developments that will be perfect for anybody wanting to live within easy access of the city centre."

Coda Architecture is working on the development.

Managing director Matt Bowker said: “We have worked on many developments in Kelham Island and around Shalesmoor and Neepsend and we are confident that Cotton Mill Row will prove to be as successful as our earlier projects.

“Coda Studios is based in Kelham Island and we have been passionate supporters of the regeneration of this historic part of Sheffield for many years now.
