Tram tracks Sheffield: Mazda RX-7 driver gets car stuck on tram tracks after missing 'no entry' sign
and live on Freeview channel 276
The motorist is by no means the first to have found himself grounded in gravel after mistakenly driving up the tramway instead of the carriageway on Netherthorpe Road.
But his mishap just so happened to be recorded by a student from a nearby flat.

Sharing his footage with The Star, the student said: “I was sitting in my room when I heard a loud revving followed by a scraping sound.
“I initially thought a motorcyclist had fallen off their bike due to the scrapping sound; however, it was a car that had somehow gotten stuck on the tram lines.”
His video shows passing motorists slowing down to watch the driver attempting to free his car from the gravel, which he eventually managed to do.
He was then filmed driving off.
