The cute quintet of dogs have all been rescued by the Rotherham-based charity Helping Yorkshire Poundies, which is seeking people to adopt them. They have the sweetest names too – literally, as they are named after chocolates.
Mars, (Double) Decker, Wispa, Bounty and Revel are all American Bulldog crossbreeds, and the charity has advised anyone interested in adopting them that they will grow up to be large dogs. It said: “Large breed experienced homes are needed for this gang They are all confident, happy and outgoing pups and will all need ongoing training and socialisation to help them grow up to be ambassadors for our beloved bully breeds.”
The charity added that Bounty may have impaired hearing and will definitely need a knowledgeable home, ideally with experience of deaf dogs.
For more about applying to adopt the puppies, or other dogs being cared for by Helping Yorkshire Poundies, visit the charity’s website and fill in a pre-adoption questionnaire.
They are not the only dogs in and around Sheffield in need of new homes, with these loveable animals also up for adoption, through Thornberry Animal Sanctuary.
The charity added that Bounty may have impaired hearing and will definitely need a knowledgeable home, ideally with experience of deaf dogs.
