A motorbike rider has been taken to hospital after crashing into a wall in Sheffield.

Emergency services were called to the incident on Lowedges Place at around 4:30pm today, August 30.

A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Police confirmed that the motorbike had collided with a wall.

The rider, a 25-year-old man, suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital by ambulance to receive treatment.

A cordon remains in place this evening as police continue their investigations.
