Major Sheffield road closed for two hours after Porsche smashes into bus

A major Sheffield road was closed for around two hours today, January 12, after a Porsche crashed into a bus.

Emergency services were called to Abbeydale Road at around 1.47pm following reports of a collision.

On arrival, officers from South Yorkshire Police found that a Porsche Panamera has smashed into a bus.

A spokesperson for the force said: “The driver of the car was checked over by paramedics at the scene. No one travelling on the bus was injured.”

The road remained closed until the car was recovered.
