Hospice golf day raises more than £5,000
Some of Sheffield’s most enthusiastic golfers teed off and raised more than £5,000 for St Luke’s Hospice.
The popular St Luke’s Golf Day, sponsored by Sheffield data protection specialists Bruce and Butler and organised in conjunction with the Rotary Club of Sheffield, was held at Abbeydale Golf Club, attracting 39 teams.
“We were delighted that our 24th Golf Day was able to go ahead as planned, with all appropriate Covid-19 safety guidance in place at all times,” said St Luke’s Senior Fundraising Manager Clare Collingworth.
“Everybody had a great day on the greens and raised more than £5,000, which is a great result and really will make an enormous difference to the lives of all St Luke’s patients and their families.”
