Eerie pictures from inside Sheffield’s ‘most haunted’ pub – abandoned for over 10 years

These atmospheric photos show how badly one of Sheffield’s ‘most haunted’ pubs has fallen into dereliction.

The former Ye Old Harrow pub on Broad Street, which stands just outside Sheffield city centre and opened in 1822, has been closed since 2008.

It has been described as one of the city’s most haunted buildings, with former tenants having spoken of encountering a dark figure and witnessing doors closing by themselves.

A five-year-old called Eliza reportedly died there and earlier this year paranormal investigators claimed to have caught a mysterious figure on camera near the bar.

Laura Rickers, who runs the popular Abandoned Memoriez Urbex Facebook page, was brave enough to visit and capture these amazing photos.

She said it was in a ‘bad state of decay’, with fire damage from an arson attack last year still clearly visible and the upstairs ‘more or less completely inaccessible’.
