Thornberry Animal Sanctuary, based in North Anston, is caring for lots of beautiful dogs of all shapes and sizes and personalities.
The charity works around the clock to provide care to each of these furry animals until they are adopted, and they work hard to pair each animal with the best family so they can live their happy ever after. Some of these pups have had a difficult past which may mean they require some extra patience, understanding and training to help them settle into their new way of living.

9. Hi there, Ted
Ted is almost three years old and has come from a world of racing. He enjoys his walks and meeting new dogs and people. He has not lived in a home before and will need understanding owners. He is sweet in nature and very gentle. He is best suited to live with children aged over 14 but this could change as his confidence grows. He could live with another greyhound. | Thornberry Animal Sanctuary

10. Sweet Prince
Prince is a five-year-old jack russell who is a sweet boy despite suffering a huge amount of neglect in his past. Prince has an affectionate side and will often be seen on his favourite handlers lap having a cuddle. He previously lived in a ‘hoarders’ household with many other dogs, which has left him quite fearful of them in certain situations. He should be the only pet and muzzled in areas where there are other dogs. | Thornberry Animal Sanctuary

11. Marvellous Milo
Milo is a sweet older boy at age 13 and is desperate for home comforts. He is a happy chap who loves people and will make a great companion. He is housetrained and walks nicely on the lead. He is content with a 30 minute walk followed by a long nap. He is best suited to a relaxed household but could have young visitors who are willing to play ball. | Thornberry Animal Sanctuary

12. Hello little Lola!
Lola is a French bulldog who has suffered poor health. Luckily she had been thriving in foster care. She only requires short walks but loves to play. She loves cuddles and is very affectionate. She takes medication daily to keep her comfortable which Thornberry will pay for. She is best suited to live with people aged 16+ and needs a secure garden. She could live with caged furries and birds. | Thornberry Animal Sanctuary Photo: Thornberry Animal Sanctuary
