Northern Rail reveal Christmas and New Year services

Services will not run on Christmas Day or Boxing Day and a normal service will resume on Sunday December 27, except for a few very early morning services.

New Year’s Eve will again see services winding down from 6pm, with very few trains running after 9pm and services will start a little later on New Year’s Day.

Normal service will resume on Saturday January 2, 2016.

Customers are advised to check northernrail.org or National Rail Enquiries nationalrail.co.uk for the latest times and services.

Northern Rail’s latest timetables are available to download now from northernrail.org. Customers are reminded to check for any minor changes to services before they travel.
