Mugger gets woman's bag
A MUGGER attacked a 56-year-old woman as she walked home with a friend after a night out in Thurnscoe.
The woman left the Spit and Whisper pub and was walking along Lidget Lane just after midnight on Sunday when a man grabbed her bag.
She was pulled to the ground, sustaining minor injuries. The mugger ran off towards Hickleton with the bag which contained her mobile phone and a small amount of cash in a purse.
The thief is described as being 6ft tall, young, of slim build and athletic.
