With one in three children now living in poverty, over 300 drop off points across Sheffield and South Yorkshire are collecting gifts to support the campaign with the amount of children helped by Mission Christmas expecting to soar past last year’s total of over 21,000.

Mission Christmas sponsor Morfitt Smith have laid on an incentive to try and increase the amount of donations to ensure enough gifts are received to support the appeal by visiting their branches in Banner Cross, Hillsborough and Crookes in Sheffield.

Paul Batty, director at the award winning estate agent, said: “At a busy time of year we wanted to offer something to keep reminding people to donate to Mission Christmas. Anyone visiting our branch with a donation will be entered in to a draw to win a trip to London worth £500 which we hope will incentivise more donations to ensure Mission Christmas is successful and no child goes without.”
