Despite the best efforts of emergency services and members of the public, the two passengers - Jacob Patching and Jacob Skidmore - were pronounced dead at the scene.
Now, funeral plans have been announced for Jacob, beginning with a procession starting at Prospect Lane, Bramley, at 2pm on October 21.
A Facebook post detailing the event reads: “To let everyone know, Jacob’s funeral will be held on Wednesday, October 21.
“He will be leaving from Prospect Close/ Flash Lane just after 2pm.
“There will be a church service at St Francis Church, Bramley, at 2.30pm, followed at the crematorium.
“After we would like to welcome you at the King Henry.”

A GoFundMe campaign to support Jacob Skidmore’s family and give him “the send off he deserves” raised over £5,300 in two weeks.
A self-organised memorial service by friends of the two boys was held on East Bawtry Road on September 27.
In the crash on Saturday, the car that left the road, a white BMW 3 series, was travelling with a second car, a blue BMW 4 series, prior to the collision.
A man was arrested in connection to the investigation on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, and was later released on police bail.
Anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting incident number 817 of September 26, 2026.
