Hole House Lane crash Stocksbridge: Buses diverted after crash on Sheffield street

Bus operator Stagecoach warned that the diversions were being put in place as a result of the incident at 4.40pm this afternoon, in Stocksbridge, with their 57 and 57A routes effected. It is not known if anyone has been injured and South Yorkshire Police have been approached for information.

Stagecoach said: “Due to an RTC on Hole House we are diverting in Stocksbridge. Toward Stocksbridge we are following the normal route until Stocksbridge Library. At which point both services will continue along Manchester Road toward the respective terminus points.

“Toward Sheffield buses will leave the terminus and head directly toward Manchester Road/Nanny Hill, turn right onto Victoria Road, then left onto Shay House Lane and follow the normal loop around Cedar Road, Coal Pit Ln/ Brackenmoor Ln and turn on Lee Avenuefrom Lee Avenue, normal route will be resumed.”
