Green leader to take part in Sheffield debate festival
One of the co-leaders of the Green Party will visit Sheffield this week.
Jonathan Bartley will speak to students and take part in a Festival of Debate event on Wednesday.
Mr Bartley became co-leader of the party with Caroline Lucas MP in September. They took over from Natalie Bennett, who stood down after four years in office.
Miss Bennett will be the Green candidate for Sheffield Central if a snap election is held, and is moving to Sheffield with the aim of becoming the north's first Green MP.
At both events Mr Bartley will be speaking about the idea of a 'basic income for all', which is a key party policy.
