Firefighters reveal blaze broke out at former Sheffield bank building which was turned into a bar

Firefighters are continuing to battle a blaze in Sheffield this morning.

A fire broke out in a building on the corner of Attercliffe Road and Staniforth Road, Attercliffe, and at its height five fire engines were at the scene, as well as a turntable ladder to tackle the flames from above.

The fire is believed to involve a former bank, which was turned into a bar.

South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said no injuries have been reported.
