Sheffield pedestrian taken to hopsital after one-vehicle crash on Main Road, Darnall
This is the scene on a busy road in a Sheffield neighbourhood this afternoon, after the emergency services were scrambled to an incident.
The collision took place on Main Road in the Darnall area of Sheffield earlier this afternoon (Wednesday, February 25, 2026).
Speaking a few moments ago, a spokesperson for Yorkshire Ambulance Service confirmed that a pedestrian has been injured in the collision.

They said: “We received an emergency call at 1.45pm on Wednesday afternoon to report a collision between a car and pedestrian on Main Road, Darnall.
“An ambulance was dispatched to the scene and one patient was conveyed to Northern General Hospital.”
The emergency services remained on the scene when The Star visited the scene of the incident a short time ago.
The police cordon in place has now been reduced in size, however, and the road is expected to reopen imminently.
