Bellhouse road incident: Man taken to hospital after two-vehicle crash in Sheffield

A man was taken to hospital after a two-vehicle collision on a road in the Shiregreen area of Sheffield last night.

South Yorkshire Police was called following reports of the crash at the junction of Bellhouse Road and Gregg House Crescent just after 6.15pm yesterday, Tuesday, November 12.

They were at the scene with Yorkshire Ambulance Service who took one man to hospital ‘as a precaution’. His injuries were not believed to be life-threatening or changing.

Officers temporarily closed the road to allow for both vehicles to be recovered, with the road reopening at around 8.30pm.

It comes less than a week after an eight-year-old girl was landed in hospital after a collision involving a car on the same road.
