The collision on Leveson Street, Attercliffe, was reported to emergency services just before 1pm.

CRIME: Man suffers serious head injuries in attack in Sheffield city centre

Paramedics were first on the scene and alerted South Yorkshire Police to the incident.

Nobody is believed to have been seriously hurt.
