Yobs hunted over arson attack in Sheffield park

Yobs set fire to a bench in a Sheffield park last night.

Firefighters were alerted to the blaze in Broadfield Park, off Broadfield Road, Nether Edge, at around 8.15pm and found the bench well alight.

South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said: “This was a plastic picnic bench in the playground of the park that had been set on fire.

“One crew form Central attended and they were there for about half an hour.”
