Woman arrested on suspicion of arson after flat fire in Rotherham

A woman has been arrested on suspicion of arson after a flat fire in Rotherham.

The 29-year-old was arrested after a blaze in a flat on Rawmarsh Hill, Parkgate, at around 5.35am on Sunday, June 16.

Firefighters extinguished the flames and a woman was rescued from the flat and taken to hospital after inhaling smoke.
