A 25-year-old man was hospitalised after he was reportedly stabbed outside a Sheffield newsagents.

South Yorkshire Police cordoned off an area on Stanley Street, Wicker, after the assault at around 1pm on Saturday afternoon (October 22).

Photos were shared online of blood spatters on the pavement near the shop. The victim was reportedly suffered wounds to his hands and shoulders before they were taken to hospital. He has since been discharged.
