Watch the shocking moment masked burglars break into a Sheffield home
“People should be able to feel safe in their own homes”
CCTV footage captures the moment two masked burglars forced their way into a Sheffield home.
Park and Arbourthorne councillor Ben Miskell has said there have been “a number” of similar incidents across Myrtle Close, Myrtle Drive and Myrtle Crescent as he urged those with information to come forward.

Dean Krause managed to capture footage of the burglars when they broke through his patio door last Friday (August 21).
The video shows a masked pair arrive at his home on bikes, before using a rock to smash their way into the property.
Dean said that they were not in his home long, making off with eight watches, around £200 in cash and an old phone.
“I suppose you’re always worried it will happen again, but you have just got to keep as positive as you can,” Dean said.
“There’s no point worrying and worrying because it’s not going to get you anywhere.”
Coun Miskell is calling on police to “take action” and bring the spree of offending to an end.
“People should be able to feel safe in their own homes. What residents have experienced here is completely unacceptable,” he added.
“I’m making a public appeal: if you know who these individuals are, have information that could help identify them, or spot them or their bikes out in the community, please pass that information on to the police.”
