Two men rushed to Sheffield hospital after double stabbing in Attercliffe

Two men are in hospital with serious injuries today after a double stabbing in Sheffield.

The men were attacked in an incident on Attercliffe Road, Attercliffe, just after 8pm last night.

They sustained knife wounds to their chest and stomach and were taken to hospital, where they remain today in a serious condition.

A police probe into the incident has been launched.

Last night around a dozen emergency service vehicles were at the crime scene.

South Yorkshire Police said: “We received a call at 8.04pm on January 11 for reports of a stabbing on Attercliffe Road in Sheffield.“Upon officers' arrival they located two men with wounds to their chest and stomach.“Yorkshire Ambulance Service attended and took the men to hospital, where they remain in a serious condition.“Enquiries are ongoing.”

Anyone with information about the stabbing should call South Yorkshire Police on 101 and quote incident number 735 of January 11.
