Trio in court over murder of man stabbed to death in Sheffield home

Two men and a woman are due in court tomorrow over the murder of a young Sheffield man stabbed to death at home.

Jordan Marples-Douglas, aged 23, was attacked in his home on Woodthorpe Road, Woodthorpe, on March 6.

He was found with multiple stab wounds and despite the efforts of paramedics was pronounced dead at the scene a short time after emergency services were alerted to the incident.

A post mortem examination revealed a fatal stab wound to his chest.

Two men, Ben Jones, 25, of no fixed address and Aaron Johnson, 21, of Mawfa Crescent, Norton, are remanded in custody after being accused of murder.

Dina Aweimrin, 21, is on bail after being charged with assisting an offender.

A case management hearing is listed at Sheffield Crown Court tomorrow.
